What Is The Difference Between Balayage & Ombré?

Balayage is a complex hair colouring process where your colourist will hand paint highlights throughout your hair to accentuate your hairstyle and facial features. Very often the highlights are soft and subtle to give a sun-kissed effect with the hair growing lighter towards the ends.  But you do not have to have blonde balayage - we also offer balayage in all hair colours including fashion shades.  

Root stretching is similar to balayage but you are likely to have fewer sun-kissed highlights through the root area.  Instead, your hair will look as if the roots have been stretched, but with a subtle blend to the next colour rather than a harsh root regrowth you can sometimes see on unkempt hair!

When it comes to ombré, this look tends to be more dramatic so you can more obviously see the differences between the two colours chosen.  In effect, this gives a slight two-tone effect and, again, we can get an ombré effect with any hair colours you desire.
