Stephen Young

Meet our Salon Owner Stephen Young who has been hairdressing for more than 30 years, learning the trade, training and working in the West End with Trevor Sorbie and Sanrizz.  Stephen is an award-winning stylist who also worked in Wimbledon Village for over 20 years.  

Which hairstyle do you absolutely love creating? It’s been my quest to produce a precise cut in a consistent manner  – I specialise in precision cutting for any face shape and hair texture.  I do not do hair colour but have a fabulous team who are highly skilled to create the best hair colours around.

What is your ultimate ambition? I’ve always wanted to have my own salon and I’m delighted to have been able to do this with my wife Alison these past 11 years.

How would you describe yourself in three words? Full of energy.

Tell us something about yourself that might surprise others.  In my teenage years in the 80s I was a very good breakdancer!
