October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and, at Stephen Young Salon in West Wimbledon, we are also taking part in "Wear it Pink" on 21st October 2022.
The team will be wearing pink in the salon alongside hosting a bake sale and a raffle! We are also expecting lots of clients to visit us for some fabulous pink hair colours!

What is "Wear It Pink Day"?
Breast Cancer Now’s "Wear it Pink Day" is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK.
Taking place during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, thousands of amazing people wear it pink in their communities, schools or work places for the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, Breast Cancer Now.

Why Do We Use The Colour Pink For Breast Cancer Awareness?
The colour pink is usually associated with femininity and breast cancer is predominantly seen as a female disease, although hundreds of men are diagnosed each year with breast cancer.
Estee Lauder first used the pink ribbon during a Breast Cancer Awareness campaign and it has become the widely accepted symbol for supporting the cause.

Pink Hair Colour Appointments At Stephen Young Hair Salon In West Wimbledon
Please note that our hair colour services are only available to people aged 16 or over. If you haven’t had your hair coloured in the past 6 months, or if you are pregnant, please book your patch test at least 48 hours in advance of your appointment.
